Welcome to Merton Priory

Here you will find information about Merton Priory, an Augustinian priory founded in 1117 and dissolved in 1538, the site's rich history before and after, and the project to found an education and information centre on the site of the chapter house, whose foundations are preserved in a chamber under Merantun Way.

The Chapter House is open for specific events such as Open House, Archaeology Week and the Wandle Valley Festival.
