Merton Priory

Welcome to Merton Priory.

Here you will find information on the current project to found an education and information centre on the site of the Chapter House of an Augustinian priory, founded in 1117 and dissolved in 1538, whose foundations are preserved in a chamber under Merantun Way.

The Chapter House is open for specific events such as Open House, Archaeology Week and the Wandle Valley Festival.

For details of forthcoming events click here.

If you would like to arrange a guided visit, please contact the trust. We would be pleased to open the chapter house by arrangement for interested groups of people.
