As part of the plan to make the museum a first class venue for events, we’re delighted to have been awarded grants for installing drains for the toilets and kitchen and high quality stage sound and lighting equipment.
This major work will start during March, but we’re sorry that this means we cannot open the museum as usual from the beginning of April – we hope the builders will have finished in time for it to be open again during May or early June, every Sunday from 11am to 4pm.
You can support us while we’re closed by supporting local businesses around the area. The Merton Apprentice has generously offered to give a donation to the charity via our Monks’ favourite tipple. Real Ale. Buy one and a percentage of the proceeds will go straight to the Chapter House.
