Plans for the Chapter House phase 1 project are out for consultation details here.
The first phase will replace the southern wall of the chapter house enclosure with a new glazed wall and provide WC, kitchen and dedicated storage for the centre. It will be part funded by the HLF Living Wandle project and part by Section 106 monies held by LB Merton for the purpose. Work is due to start July 2014… watch this space for more.
